Cat lovers have been delighted with the way Margy’s sonnets get inside the feline mind and with the pictures she draws of the various antics of our four-foot friends.

If your cat wakes you at 4AM for breakfast? distains food previously gobbled up? attacks forbidden objects and ignores expensive toys? owns a large piece of your heart? You will find your cat and others in the pages of this book.

Cat-House Sonnets may be purchased by email to Mcatsonnets@erols.com for an autographed copy or through the publisher at http://www.jorlanpublishing.com/Cat-HouseSonnets.htm

"The sonnets of Margy Ohring are a gift to the world of poetry; they prove that a classic form never goes out of style. She deftly weaves her words and allows us to enter the marvelous minds of felines, as well as the hearts of those of us fortunate enough to share our lives with them."
-- Betsy Stowe, author of the award-winning Calico Tales and Others

Recently retired from for many years of running a business, Margy Ohring moved to the foothills of the Shenandoah Mountains with her twenty-year-old cat, Patches. Frail, elderly Patches became Margy’s first muse. A member of the Cat Writers’ Association, Margy divides her time between writing award-winning sonnets about her cats and hanging out with her four grandchildren. Margy’s cat-sonnets have been published in a number of ezines. Her non-cat sonnets have been published in Releasing Times Magazine. Often Margy writes sonnets to ease the grief of her online friends when their cats succumb to age or illness and soar away to the Rainbow Bridge.
