About Us...

Back in February 2001, I set out to create the best online writer-resource site I possibly could (Writers Manual). Thanks to you, the readers and supporters, I'm still going strong years later, and, as you can see, have moved the site to a new and privately-owned location (ahhh freedom) and renamed it to Writer Gazette! Writers Manual still exists but for another purpose: it's now the bragging zone for writers worldwide and I offer free promotion for published authors and freelancers.

As most of you probably know, there are costs to running and maintaining a website and I foot these costs personally for Writer Gazette, as well as my other writer-related sites (Writers Manual and EbooksCafe). I also spend approximately 75% of my time honing the site, adding new content, searching for the newest writer-related resource or job listing, etc. (can we say addicted?) and I really do enjoy it. But there are a few things missing that I would love to offer -- namely, paying writers for article submissions. But, financially, at this point, this is not feasible...

This is where you come in...

So...if you'd like to give back to this site, you can by contributing $5 or more a year for your subscription to the Writer Gazette weekly newsletter OR you can purchase a copy of my "Discovering the Writer Within" Workbook (click here for details)!
