Flight From Eden - Eden, Volume I

A chilling and inspirational tale of a Taliban style theocracy and the spirit of resistance in America.

What could a computer expert, a mercenary with admitted sadistic tendencies, a cashiered U.S.A.F. officer and a world-famous astrophysicist possibly have in common? Courage!

They are each prepared to sacrifice life, fortune and sacred honor to free their nation from the grip of tyranny. To accomplish this, they must attempt the impossible. If they fail, the streets of their nation will run red with blood.

If they succeed, they will die millions of miles from their home.

The time is the near future. The United States is suffering in the grip of a fanatical and repressive theocracy that seems to jump right off the pages of today’s newspapers. While the rest of the world mourns the end of greatness, some very human scientists find a unique and daring solution . . .

The art of resistance can take many forms.

Format: Paperback, 380pp. ISBN: 1-932133-45-3 Publisher: iUniverse, Incorporated Pub. Date: October 2001

"Ms. Graham starts building the suspense on the very first page . . . I only hope that her story of martial law and the suppression of individual rights remains a fictional tale."
-- Michael Badnarik, Libertarian Candidate for U.S. President, 2004

"Kathryn A. Graham has done her research. To my untrained eye, the characters in Flight From Eden might have come from NASA . . . You won't want to put it down until you find out what happens to them."
-- Judy Schuler, Heartland Reviews

"Kathryn A. Graham gets it right in Flight from Eden. This tale of a secret space flight project taking shape in a dystopian future United States hits the ground running and never stops."
-- Thomas L. Knapp, Rational Review

"An absolute page-turner! I found myself ripping anxiously through the 380 pages, and disappointed to finally reach the end. One of those great books you wish would go on and on. Ms. Graham's first novel is an ingenious blend of mystery, science fiction, friendship, romance and triumph over oppression."
-- Web Williams, Private Gun Sale Newsletter
