Our cousins came to visit us and gave us a beautiful gift of your book. A treasure to cherish! To read and re-read. God bless you!
-- Reviewer: Retirement village residents

Thank you for writing such a lovely book. I received it a few days ago and just about finished reading it. It is truly wonderful!
-- Reviewer: New Jersey reader

On the plane people were staring at me, because as I was reading your book I was laughing and then crying.
-- Reviewer: Activities Consultant

You can say so much in a few words that it takes others to say in so many.
-- Reviewer: Midwestern Lawyer

Written with humor. I plan to give this book as a gift to all of my sister-in-laws for their birthdays. I hope they enjoy it as much as I did.
-- Reviewer: Nurse Consultant

A collection of real-life inspirational pearls. Especially for anyone who has ever been a parent. Real-life scenarios cause you to reflect on similar events in your own life and derive greater meaning from your own experiences. It's hard to put it down until you read just one more story. Everyone we have given this book to has enthusiastic comments.
-- Reviewer: Physician

Lynn began writing at age 8, and wrote her first poem, vowing then to someday write a book. She has been a nurse for 40 years working in areas of hospital care, home care, long term care and Red Cross nursing. She was a member of National Honor Society in high school; voted "Best Citizen" in nursing school; named "United Way Best Volunteer in Red Cross Drive"; listed in Who's Who in Nursing; and recipient of Sigma Theta Tau Internationl Media award for excellence in Nursing journalism.

She tries to keep her writing always down to earth and as honest as possible. Her next book is still "whirling around" in her head and she must find time to begin writing it! Writing is a non-stop learning process. You have to be serious and methodical about it, work hard, know what you don't know and keep on learning as much as you can.

She has published in professional nursing journals as well as the following other published works:

  • Poems: Love's Smile in Quiet Moments, Pegasus Press, 1990
  • Friend, Iliad Literary Award, 1990
  • Hollyhocks, Poetic Voices of America, Sparrowgrass Poetry Forum
  • Escape from the City, A Celebration of Poets, The Poetry Guild, 1997
  • Children's Story: A Happy Color, Honorable Mention, Writers Digest, 1998
